To commemorate this incredible triumph, Manchester City brought the illustrious Premier League trophy to New Delhi, alongside the Club World Cup and Community Shield trophies, providing fans a unique chance to connect with the club’s achievements.
Joining the impressive display of trophies is former Manchester City and England winger Shaun Wright-Phillips, who will participate in engaging activities designed explicitly for Cityzens in India. These events aim to deepen the connection between the club and its dedicated fanbase, highlighting Manchester City supporters’ widespread enthusiasm and loyalty worldwide. One of the standout moments of the tour is scheduled for September 22, when fans are warmly invited to gather at Vegas Mall to watch Manchester City take on Arsenal FC in a highly anticipated clash. This fan event promises to be a thrilling celebration, bringing supporters together to share their unwavering passion for the club while soaking up the electrifying atmosphere of live football.
Speaking on the visit as a whole, Club Legend Wright-Phillips said, “We’re really looking forward to visiting India as part of the Club’s Champions 4-in-a-row tour. The club were fortunate enough to visit last year and we’re excited to interact with our fan base in India again, as we bring the Premier League, Club World Cup and Community Shield Trophies around the world.”
He commented on the fixture against Arsenal FC, “Our latest visit also coincides with our important Premier League fixture against Arsenal which fans can watch at a special fan event and screening on the Sunday.”
