French midfielder Yacine Adli, currently playing for AC Milan, has caught the attention of several English clubs. Brentford, Leicester City, and Nottingham Forest expressed interest in the €14 million-rated talent. The reports of Brentford’s interest have been circulating for a few days, intensifying after Adli reportedly declined a more lucrative offer from the Saudi Pro League.
While Brentford appears to be making moves to secure Adli, they now face competition from Leicester City and Nottingham Forest, according to Calciomercato.com. Both clubs have closely monitored the midfielder’s progress but have yet to make a formal offer. With this increased interest from Premier League clubs, it is clear that Adli’s skills on the pitch have not gone unnoticed.
Italian side Udinese Calcio has also expressed interest in Adli, further complicating the matter for the English clubs vying for his talents. It remains to be seen which team will ultimately secure the young Frenchman’s services. Still, one thing is sure: Yacine Adli’s star is rising, and he has a bright future in football.
As Yacine Adli’s time at AC Milan appears to close, the club actively seeks a swift resolution to the midfielder’s future. The Rossoneri initially set an asking price of €14 million for the talented Frenchman. Still, their eagerness to move him on has made that figure increasingly negotiable. Recent reports suggest a deal could be struck for as little as €12 million plus additional bonuses, reflecting Milan’s desire to offload the player quickly.
AC Milan acquired Adli from Girondins de Bordeaux in 2021 for €8.75 million. Despite being purchased by the Italian giants, Adli remained on loan at the French club until 2022 before finally joining the ranks at San Siro. Since then, he has made 39 competitive appearances for Milan, contributing one goal and two assists.
Despite his limited playing time and reported interest from other clubs, such as Fiorentina, Adli seems determined to remain in Milan and fight for his place on the squad. As the transfer window continues, it will be intriguing to see whether the midfielder’s resolve will sway the club’s decision or if AC Milan will ultimately part ways with the talented Frenchman.
Mario Hermoso’s agents have reportedly been discussing a potential transfer for the free agent with Inter Milan and AC Milan following the breakdown of talks with Napoli. According to Orazio Accomando, a DAZN transfer reporter, the central defender’s representatives have been in Milan this week, scheduling meetings to find a new club for Hermoso.
Inter and AC Milan are in the market for a versatile defender like Hermoso, who can also play left-back. Hermoso would only require wages, with no transfer fee, as a free agent, making him an appealing option for both clubs. The 29-year-old became a free agent after his contract with Atletico Madrid expired. He was previously close to joining Napoli until negotiations fell through, allegedly due to a disagreement over a signing-on fee.
In 2019, when he was still under contract with Espanyol, Hermoso was the subject of a €25 million transfer bid from Atletico Madrid. As a free agent, Hermoso is said to be seeking a three-year contract with a total value of around €6 million, equivalent to approximately £99,000 per week. As one of the most coveted players in Europe this summer, Hermoso is likely to attract further interest from top clubs as he searches for his next destination.
Several top Italian clubs, including Roma, Bologna, and Juventus, initially expressed interest in the talented Spanish international but ultimately decided against pursuing him further.
As it stands, Al-Shabab FC in the Saudi Pro League poses the most significant competition for Hermoso’s signature. However, the player prefers to remain in Europe, where Inter and Milan compete in the prestigious Champions League.
An additional advantage to securing Hermoso is his versatility on the pitch. The Spaniard’s ability to perform effectively at left-back offers potential suitors an extra incentive to secure his services, as he could provide valuable depth and tactical flexibility. With Inter and Milan vying for his signature, the race to sign Hermoso is set to be a tightly contested affair.
