Foot Mercato reports that Olympique de Marseille has agreed on personal terms with Freiburg right-back Killian Sildillia, 22. The club is now preparing to initiate discussions with the Bundesliga team.
Marseille’s transfer activity has recently picked up pace as they aim to have their squad fully prepared for the season’s kickoff in three weeks. While Les Phocéens are still searching for a goalkeeper and are nearing an agreement for Inter Milan’s 19-year-old attacking midfielder, Valentin Carboni, they must also fill the void left by Jonathan Clauss’ transfer to OGC Nice. Marseille have turned their attention to Killian Sildillia, a standout performer for France in the Olympics, where he notably scored the decisive goal in the win over Guinea. Since joining Metz in 2020, Sildillia could soon return to Ligue 1 as a regular starter for Freiburg.
Foot Mercato reports that the France Olympics international has informed Freiburg of his desire to move to Marseille this summer. The promising right-back is eager to join Roberto De Zerbi’s squad, and discussions between Les Phocéens and the Bundesliga club are expected to begin soon. Meanwhile, Sildillia remains focused on his Olympic campaign with France, who will face Argentina in the quarterfinals on Friday.

Foot Mercato reports that Lille OSC has finalized an agreement with Heerenveen to transfer Norwegian international winger Osame Sahraoui, 23, in a deal valued at €8 million.
Following the departures of Adam Ounas, 27, and Yusuf Yazici, 27, after their contracts expired, and with Jonathan David, 24, likely to be transferred as he enters the final year of his current contract, Lille are seeking to bolster their attacking lineup. These departures have created a void in the team’s attacking options, and the arrival of Osame Sahraoui is seen as a step towards filling this gap. After securing midfielders Ethan Mbappé, 17, and Ngal’Ayel Mukau, 19, along with the free transfer of veteran right-back Thomas Meunier, 32, Les Dogues are poised to announce their third addition. The arrival of Osame Sahraoui comes just days before their UEFA Champions League third qualifying round clash against José Mourinho’s Fenerbahce.
The 23-year-old left winger emerged as one of Eredivisie’s standout performers last season, scoring eight goals and providing four assists in 33 appearances. Known for his exceptional dribbling skills, Sahraoui became a top target for Lille to enhance their attack. Foot Mercato reports that Lille has outpaced OGC Nice in securing Sahraoui, investing approximately €8 million, excluding potential add-ons. Additionally, Lille is on the verge of signing Villarreal’s 32-year-old center-back Aïssa Mandi following Leny Yoro’s transfer to Manchester United.

Fabrizio Romano reports that Olympique de Marseille is negotiating with Arsenal to finalize a transfer fee for Eddie Nketiah, 25. Les Phocéens are showing their unwavering determination to secure the England international’s move to Stade Vélodrome this summer, demonstrating their commitment and dedication to strengthening the squad.
Under Roberto De Zerbi’s guidance, Marseille is implementing a bold transfer strategy in preparation for the upcoming Ligue 1 season. The Italian manager is focused on adding Premier League experience to his squad, having already secured the arrivals of Mason Greenwood and Pierre-Emile Højbjerg. This strategy not only brings in experienced players but also diversifies the team’s playing style and enhances its competitiveness. Eddie Nketiah would become OM’s third signing from the English top flight this transfer window.
The Ligue 1 side has settled on personal terms with the Arsenal striker but is still working to finalize the transfer agreement. According to La Provence, the Premier League club hesitates to let their academy talent depart without a significant fee. Fabrizio Romano reports that while discussions are ongoing, the two clubs have yet to agree. The negotiations are expected to continue in the coming days, and both parties are hopeful of reaching a mutually beneficial agreement.
